KETONIQ began from something very personal. For years, health challenges meant I could not always join my friends when they went out to celebrate. While everyone else was raising a glass, I often felt like an outsider.

That changed when I discovered ketones. I discovered that they could bring a gentle uplift without alcohol, a way to share in the energy of those moments without the hangovers that follow. The problem was that the drinks I found overseas were expensive and difficult to get to South Africa. So I decided to create one myself.

KETONIQ is not about replacing alcohol. Some moments call for a cocktail or a glass of champagne, and we recognise the importance of those rituals. What we offer is a way to complement them. You can raise a toast with KETONIQ and still feel part of the moment, or switch to it after that first glass when you want to celebrate without drinking more.
